Huamei Laser Expands Professional Tattoo Removal Options with a Customizable Pico Laser Platform

 A dual-wavelength foundation for professional tattoo removal

Tattoo removal is technically demanding because tattoo inks vary in color, particle composition, depth and density. Huamei Laser’s pico laser platform is built around a standard 1064/532 nm treatment handpiece, giving clinics a practical dual-wavelength foundation for addressing commonly encountered tattoo colors and pigment concerns.

The 1064 nm wavelength is generally selected for darker inks such as black, dark blue, brown and gray, as well as deeper pigment targets. The 532 nm wavelength is commonly used for red, orange and other warm-colored pigments located closer to the skin surface. Actual treatment response depends on the ink, skin type, tattoo age, depth and previous treatments, so professional assessment and conservative parameter selection remain essential.

Optional handpieces for a broader service portfolio

Clinics and distributors can expand the platform according to their market needs. Optional configurations include:

  • · 585 nm dye laser tip for selected light-blue and purple tattoo pigments;
  • · 650 nm dye laser tip for selected green tattoo pigments;
  • · 1064/532 nm DOE handpiece for fractional energy delivery and skin-focused applications; and
  • · 1064/532 nm FLA handpiece for additional fractional treatment options.

These accessories are optional and are not included in the standard machine configuration. This modular approach allows buyers to begin with the core 1064/532 nm capability and add functions based on real customer demand, rather than paying for every possible accessory from the beginning.

Designed for precision and efficient operation

The system offers a 2–10 mm adjustable spot size and a repetition rate of 1–10 Hz. A seven-joint articulated optical arm provides 360-degree movement for flexible positioning, while the 12-inch touch screen gives the operator direct access to treatment settings and client information. Closed-loop water circulation and air cooling support stable daily operation.

Pico laser energy creates a rapid photoacoustic effect that breaks targeted pigment into smaller particles. The body can then gradually clear these particles through its natural processes. Because outcomes vary by tattoo and client, treatment should always be performed by trained professionals in accordance with local regulations and approved protocols.

OEM customization for market differentiation

Beyond the treatment configuration, Huamei Laser can customize the machine housing, color, logo, language and software interface. This gives distributors, medical aesthetic brands and clinic chains an opportunity to build a recognizable product identity while working with an established manufacturing platform.
